Ansulene (Founder & Owner):
Ansulene has 4 dogs and 6 cats! She has 3 children, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law, and the smartest, most beautiful, most wonderful little granddaughter. Her husband, Frans, is her biggest supporter in everything she does – even though he often jokes that her ideas wear him (and his wallet!) out.
In her “previous” life, she was a lecturer at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, where she taught Accounting. But behind the scenes, life took an unexpected turn. After a deeply personal season and a struggle with depression, everything changed.
At the age of 55, Ansulene made a brave decision — to start over.
She and Frans moved to Bloemfontein, leaving behind what was familiar, and stepping into the unknown. It took her a full year to gather the courage to begin again… to turn pain into purpose.
That is where JUSTBLiSS was born.
Not just as a business, but as a way to heal, to simplify life, and to return to what truly matters — natural living, daily rituals, and caring for the whole self.
Today, JUSTBLiSS is a reflection of that journey — built on resilience, honesty, and the belief that it is never too late to start again.
Nella (Operations Manager)
When Nella isn’t busy creating magic in the bath (literally, at JUSTBLiSS :)), she’s living her best life surrounded by nature, plants, and… almost a whole zoo!
With 5 cat-children (Baba Tigger being the biggest gossip on socials), 4 dog-children with very different personalities, 6 birdie children, and lately… even chickens — there’s never a quiet moment.
She’s often “lost in the leaves,” with a deep love for Monsteras and everything green — happiest when she’s surrounded by life, growth, and a little bit of wild.
Wifey to Mynhardt, her parents’ favourite child (of course :)), and the best little sister to her big sister, Nella is all heart when it comes to the people she loves.
And after a long day? Give her a fire, some meat on the coals, and her people — that’s where her bliss lives.
Lohane (Customers & Orders)
Lohane is always hungry, constantly hoping to grow even taller, and is as blind as a bat. With her striking red, curly hair, she’s hard to miss — and even harder to forget.
She proudly says she “stole” her brother’s birthday — same day, just three years apart — and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
She is dyslexic and spelling is definitely not her strong point, but that has never held her back for a second. In true Lohane fashion, she just gets on with things — confidently, unapologetically, and always with a sense of humour.
She lives on a plot filled with animals who seem to love visiting the vet (tongue in cheek, of course), and keeping them all happy and healthy is no small task. In fact, her animals are costing her a small fortune — but she wouldn’t change a thing.
Ansulene jokes that she would take Lohane to war with her any day — and that says everything you need to know. She is fiercely loyal, deeply trustworthy, and someone you want by your side no matter what.
Lohane brings a lightness, honesty, and realness to everything she does. She reminds us that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful — and that sometimes, the best stories come with a little chaos, a lot of laughter, and a very big heart.
Steph (TinyShop Manager & Studio Assistant)
Steph is the newbie to the team :). You’ll find her in the Tiny Shop — quiet, observant, and low-key taking everything in. She listens more than she talks… so much so, you might forget she’s there — until she suddenly says something spot-on.
She runs on curiosity… and coffee. Lots of coffee. Morning coffee, mid-morning coffee, just-because coffee — she’s basically the official coffee pot of JUSTBLiSS Naturals :)
A proud Coke-aholic with a serious sweet tooth, Steph is all about the simple joys: sleep, nature, animals (especially pandas!), and fully embracing her naturally curly, afro hair.
When she’s not at JUSTBLiSS, she’s either diving into a new hobby — padel, pickleball, hockey… you name it — or chilling at home with her three fur babies: Tyson, Blue, and Oreo.
She might be quiet, but don’t underestimate her — Steph is always up for a challenge, always curious, and always ready to try something new… preferably with a coffee in hand.
