Turmeric Facial Scrub – Gentle Plant-Based Exfoliant for Radiant Skin

We charge a Flat Rate of R110 for shipping, and aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually within 2-3 working days after the receipt of payment. Orders, where payment is received after 12:00 pm on a Friday, will be processed on the following Monday.

You can expect to receive your order within 2-4 business days, no matter where in SA you are! Delivery areas to rural, outlying, high risk or farms may incur an additional surcharge for your account, which we will communicate with you once our courier partner informs us. Alternatively we will provide you with the closest collection point to your address, for no additional charge.

1. Do a patch test: Apply a small amount of the scrub to your forearm and wait 24–48 hours to check for swelling, redness, or irritation.
2. Cleanse your face: Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and lukewarm water to remove any makeup or impurities. Lukewarm water helps open your pores.
3. Apply the scrub: Use your fingertips to apply a small, even layer of the scrub to your damp face and neck, carefully avoiding the delicate eye area.
4. Massage gently: Massage the scrub into your skin using slow, circular motions for about one minute. This helps exfoliate dead skin cells without causing irritation.
5. Let it sit: You can leave the paste on for up to 15 minutes to allow the ingredients to work. Start slowly at first, only 2 minutes. Avoid leaving it on too long, as it can cause dryness or a temporary yellow stain.
6. Rinse off: Wash the scrub off with warm water. Using a cleanser afterward can help remove any potential yellow residue.
7. Pat dry and moisturize: Gently pat your skin dry with a soft, clean towel. Follow up with your preferred moisturizer while your skin is still slightly damp to lock in hydration.
8. Use SPF: Because exfoliating can increase your skin's sun sensitivity, apply sunscreen if using the scrub during the daytime.

Important considerations
1. Prevent staining: Turmeric has a strong pigment that can temporarily stain your skin and permanently stain fabrics. Use caution to protect your clothes and towels. Wiping stained skin with milk or our Citrus Bliss Cleanser can help remove the yellow tint.
2. Frequency: For most skin types, using a turmeric scrub 1–3 times a week is sufficient. Over-exfoliating can cause dryness and irritation.
