PRODUCT FAQ'S

Natural skincare ingredients are derived from plant, mineral, or animal sources without undergoing extensive processing. Examples include shea butter, essential oils, aloe vera, and coconut oil. These ingredients are often preferred for their gentle and nourishing properties. Please note that JUSTBLiSS Naturals do not use ANY animal fats for soap making!

All of our products are made with simple, natural, and organic ingredients. They are never tested on animals (except our human volumteers.

However, not all of our products are vegan becasue some are made with goad milk, camel milk, honey, or beeswax.

Our soaps and body care products contain no animal fats; we use a vegan base of natural planht oils and butters.

At JUSTBLiSS, we provide a full list of ingredients for each of our products. In this way, you can make an informed choice about a product that is right for your lifestyle.

The ingredients used in our products are 100% naturalsafelegal and environment friendly. We do NOT use potent chemicals in our products, we aim to use as many organic naturally derived ingredients as possible.

We only uses 100% naturalcold pressed plant based oils and butters, and 100% puresteam distilled essential oils. All fragrance oils are phthalate free!  Our products can be used safely by all including infants above 6 months, even pregnant woman - although we do recommend our PURE collection for infants and pregnant woman.

There are times when the consistency of product changes, but it does not mean the product has expired or gone bad. This is the expected behaviour of a natural product.

As the products are hand crafted with skin-loving natural essential oils, preservative free natural ingredients, they may show a change in colour or consistency when exposed to heat or fluctuation in temperature. But the product remains just as potent and effective as it was when you brought it.

Not just that, even if you order the same product again, you might find there is difference in texture, colour, consistency and may be the fragrance, because it’s all natural ingredients and they may vary from one batch to another.

If the product is within the expiration date it is mostly fine to use it. However, make sure that the product is stored in a cool dry place. Still if you have doubt, take up a patch test.

In summer, if you find that your product has melted, or looked as if it has split, just place in the fridge for an hour or two:)

Trying to choose the right natural soaps or skincare products can be a bit overwhelming especially when you ahve allergies and/or skin sensitivies.

Since we producly list every ingredient in all of our products, reading the ingredient list will help to eliminate ingredients that may cause your problems.

We always recommend doing a patch test before using any new products especially if yu have sensitive skin or allergies.

Take note: All our soaps are made with coconut oil oil and shea butter.

If you are not allergic to those but still have a sensitive skin, please be on the look out for our PURE collection. They are all fragrance/essential oil free and even the soaps are made with ingredients that will benefit your skin.

We hand make all of our own products in small batches to ensure freshness, consistency, and perfection.

Our products are not made to sit on store shelves for years and years.

Although there are natural preservatives within the chemical structure of many natural ingredients, they are not as potent as the synthetic preservatives used in commercial products to prolong shelf-life.

Other than soap, our products are remade every few weeks and none are very old when they are sold. Our non-soap products should be opened within 6 months of purchase.

Since we use a natural preservative, the more important question is, "how long with the product last once it has been opened?" Once opened, skincare products become exposed to dirt and microorganisms (bacteria, yeasts, and molds) that are found in the air and on the skin.

As soon as you open and begin to use any product, simply the way in whicy you use it will affect its lifespan.

Tip: write the date you open a product for the first time on its label so you can keep track of the period after opening.

Usually patch tests are done to test a new product. But you can certainly test anything, as it’s very simple method. Take a small sample of the product in your palm and apply it on the inside of your wrists or inner arm (these areas have skin texture bit similar to facial skin) and leave it there for up to 24 hrs. If there is any irritation or redness or any roughness on skin, please do not use the product. However, if there is no reaction, you can safely use the product.

No, our products are stable to an ambient temperature of 30-35⁰ C. However, we do recommend that the products should not be exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat.

It is not possible to regulate the aroma of natural skin care products without the use of fragrances/essential oils. There might be a slight change in smell from batch to batch or over time, but this is only a good news. It is a sign of reassurance that your product is truly natural. Natural ingredients are affected by varied farming practices, amount of sunshine, rains, growth and harvest etc.

You notice a change in aroma mainly because the essential oil blends do change after a few months, but it does not mean that they are spoiled. That’s completely normal with chemical free product.

Carrier oils are plant-based oils used to dilute essential oils and other concentrated ingredients. They are rich in vitamins and fatty acids, making them ideal for moisturizing and nourishing the skin. Popular carrier oils include hemp seed oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, moringa oil and many more. You will note that hemp seed oil is our signature oil!

Active ingredients are components in skincare products that address specific skin concerns, such as acne, aging, or hyperpigmentation. Examples include Vitamin C, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. These ingredients work by targeting and improving the skin's appearance and health.

Yes!! Our recipe is carefully formulated to create long-lasting hard bars that produce loads of sudsy bubbles.

The short answer: NO! Adding antibacterial chemicals to soap does NOT keep your family safe from germs. Simply washing your hands with old-fashioned natural soap and water rids your skin of most fungi, bacteria, and virusses. Soap does not kill germs, it surrounds them and carries them away.

How long a natural soap bar will last depends on:

  • how many people are using it
  • how often you bathe or shower
  • how you use the bar

For one person showering every day, a well-drained bar should last for about one month.
