Natural Mosquito Repellent Spray – DEET-Free, Plant-Based Protection

Before you apply
Do a patch test. Before using a natural spray for the first time, test a small amount on a patch of skin and wait an hour or two. Some natural ingredients, especially concentrated essential oils, can cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in certain individuals.

How to apply
1. Shake the bottle well. Natural ingredients and essential oils can separate over time.
2. Always shake the bottle thoroughly before each use to ensure the active ingredients are evenly mixed.
3. Spray on exposed skin and clothing. Hold the bottle +-10cm away and spray generously. Since natural repellents have a shorter protection time, make sure all exposed areas are well-covered.
4. Avoid sensitive areas. Do not spray directly onto your face. Instead, spray the repellent onto your hands and then apply it carefully to your neck and face, avoiding your eyes and mouth. Also, avoid applying to open cuts or irritated skin.
5. Reapply frequently. Reapply the spray every few hours, especially if you are sweating heavily, swimming, or are in a very buggy area. Natural sprays typically last for a few hours at most before their effectiveness fades.
6. Wash it off. When you are no longer outdoors, wash off the repellent with soap and water.

Safe use with children
For infants under three years, direct skin application of essential oil sprays is generally not recommended.

Maximizing effectiveness
1. For the best results, use your natural spray as part of a broader strategy to prevent mosquito bites.
2. Wear protective clothing. Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants to minimize exposed skin.
3. Avoid peak hours. Limit outdoor activities during dusk and dawn, when mosquitoes are most active.
4. Eliminate standing water. Get rid of any standing water around your home, as this is where mosquitoes lay their eggs
