How to apply hand cream:
1. Start with clean hands. Before applying, wash your hands with a gentle soap and pat them dry with a towel, leaving them slightly damp.
2. Use the right amount. A pea-sized amount is often enough for thick, rich creams. Using too much can leave a greasy residue.
3. Warm the cream. Rub the cream between your palms to distribute it evenly and warm it slightly. This helps with smoother application and better absorption.
4. Massage into the back of your hands. The skin on the back of your hands is thinner and tends to get drier, so start by massaging the cream there in gentle, circular motions.
5. Focus on fingers and cuticles. Massage the cream into each finger individually, working from the base to the fingertip. Pay special attention to your nails and cuticles to keep them moisturized and healthy.
6. Continue massaging. Spend a few minutes massaging the cream into your hands until it is fully absorbed. This improves blood circulation and helps the ingredients penetrate the skin.

When to apply hand cream:
1. After washing your hands: Washing with soap and water strips your skin of its natural oils, so applying hand cream immediately afterward helps to replenish lost moisture.
2. Before bedtime: Using a richer, thicker hand cream at night allows your skin to deeply absorb the product and repair itself while you sleep.
3. Throughout the day: Reapply whenever your hands feel dry or tight, especially after exposure to harsh conditions like cold weather, wind, or sun.

Tips for best results:
1. Exfoliate your hands weekly: Gently exfoliating once or twice a week removes dead skin cells, which allows your hand cream to absorb more effectively.
2. Use cotton gloves for an overnight treatment: For extra-dry or cracked hands, apply a generous layer of thick cream before bed and wear cotton gloves overnight to seal in the moisture.
3. Don't neglect your nails: The same hand cream you use on your hands can be beneficial for your cuticles and nails, keeping them hydrated and reducing brittleness.
